"Happy Trails" Review by Tommy Tucker

I've been writing a review for a Western Newspaper called "Happy Trails" which covers a large portion of the Pacific Northwest. There's a Western Swing album that I added to the KRLC playlist as soon as it arrived. "Swing Time" by Peggy Rains is what I consider one of the best swing albums I've heard in a long time. With hits like "A Woman's Place" (by Cindy Walker) and "Bring Back The Waltzes" (a Red Steagall penned song) plus ten other outstanding tunes makes this album stand a cut above ordinary. This Oklahoma gal has a voice that is pleasant to listen too from start to finish on every cut. A must for your collection! This album gets and deserves a Big Five Star Rating. Tommy Tucker In July 2000, Peggy was awarded the honor of Western Swing Female Vocalist for the 2000 Will Rogers Cowboy Masters Awards presented by the Academy of Western Artists.
