"Happy
Trails" Review by Tommy Tucker
I've been writing a review for a Western Newspaper called "Happy Trails"
which covers a large portion of the Pacific Northwest. There's a Western Swing album that
I added to the KRLC playlist as soon as it arrived. "Swing Time" by Peggy Rains
is what I consider one of the best swing albums I've heard in a long time. With hits like
"A Woman's Place" (by Cindy Walker) and "Bring Back The Waltzes" (a
Red Steagall penned song) plus ten other outstanding tunes makes this album stand a cut
above ordinary. This Oklahoma gal has a voice that is pleasant to listen too from start to
finish on every cut. A must for your collection! This album gets and deserves a Big Five

Female Vocalist for the 2000 Will Rogers Cowboy Masters Awards presented by the Academy of
